After Credit Card Drama — Now I’m Living Life in a Cash World — Good!

My highest credit score was 767 two years ago and now it’s X but gaining momentum @ average 11 or more points per month.

I went thru some drama a couple of years ago in which now I just pay with cash only. Unfortunately by force, but it’s all good. Now that I’ve been using cash the last year I don’t think I’ll get any more credit cards and keep alive the Macy’s card and other small credit reporting stragglers. Not that Macy's is special it’s just a method to the credit card science and to keep one card alive is good.

I have not used one credit card since December of 2017 and I thought I couldn’t live without my credits and I see now I can. I would never file bankruptcy, but I did work a deal with Discover, Chase, Wells Fargo and a private loan because I knew they would. I was able to settle for penny’s at least to me. One was 16k and they took 3k! I paid off the stragglers and now all I have now is a Macy’s card and a few small moochers. Yes, I will get a 1099C which the debt is reported to the IRS, but since I prepare taxes I know the deal.

I’m responsible but shit happens and you never think it will happen to you until it happens to you. Never say never. Yes, my credit took a hit but I’m not buying a car or house anytime soon and if I do cash is cool for most people. So yes I’ve been saving on fees and some of the bill collectors got paid.

I don’t need them in my life and I have more cash in my pocket. I thought it would be an issue having to use cash (debit cards), but it has not been a problem at all. I’m not saying I’m 100% debt free because I need something on my credit report as I’ve been tracking my credit account when it was only Transunion on the scene.

There’s a science and an equation that can be calculated for your credit score. My credit will equal to or higher than 767 by December 2020 or sooner. So yeah I can’t flash my Discover or VISA cards, but that’s ok. I’m happy and they’re happy!

If you’re over your head in debt, tell them you’ll pay when you can and if your credit drops so the F what. It’ll take 30 extra days for it to appear on your credit report and think of the fees as a loan. Sometimes it’s worth it.

If I want to rent a car I can with a debit card. I can take my business Paypal card and slip my name over the debit word and I can get any car that won’t even be billed until the authorization lifts 3 -5 days after I drop the car off. Yes, I know some things! All legal of course!

This goes for the IRS as well. You owe them money? Don’t be hiding, just get a payment plan and if you can’t make it you’ll pay some fees, but you’ll have cash in your pocket.

Yes we have to pay our bills but psychologically you can fall into a pit of despair if you can’t pay your credit cards or loans on time but don’t be stressing, I’m saying cash in your pocket is better than cash in their pocket. I never got into payday loans so I don’t know about those gangsters.

Guess what? They all can wait!
