I don’t vote because deep down I don’t believe in the process.

I don’t vote and have only voted twice in my entire life.

I don’t vote because deep down and based on the time I’ve been on the planet, I don’t believe in the process.

Mainly because the first time I did by the time I got home an hour later, the president was announced.

I thought there’s no way my vote was counted before the election, maybe after who knows.

I remember a friend now ex-friend got mad at me because I didn’t vote for Obama. I was like FU was bye!

Anyway the original Manchurian Candidate was with Frank Sinatra in 1962.

It’s about a group of military guys that captured by the enemy and brain washed to agree on the same story that their captain saved them etc. Trigger words etc.

They get out the military and their captain becomes a political figure for saving their lives but it’s a lie.

The original movie was so good they did another Manchurian Candidate (MC) in 2004 with Denzel Washington. This MC was good but the original was sooo good I thought when I first saw it.

Like I said I’m not political, but I do believe in mind control. In the movie the sniper was mind controlled and tried to “off” the political figure.

I do believe in the times we live in Trump would be the best to run this country because he is not a punk.

But I won’t be voting.

I’m not voting because I feel like when I found out the about the Electoral College I thought nah. If any of those people are threatened it could change who was president.

Anyway this snipper thing made me think of the movies which are really good!

Just sayin’

**If I wasn’t clear, here’s a description by ChatGPT about the movie:

“The Manchurian Candidate” explores themes of mind control, the abuse of power, and the dangers of political extremism.

Both film adaptations have been praised for their suspenseful storytelling and the chilling portrayal of brainwashing.

The 1962 film, in particular, is considered a classic of the thriller genre, while the 2004 film brought the story into a contemporary context with a focus on corporate and technological influences.
