Skynet’s AI robot recruiting is on the rise!

No need to worry about a job anymore because Skynet will not let you in!

So some companies are using Skynet to interview prospective employees. Not good.

This is an employers market and they plan to take control.

I’m self employed, however when I get an opportunity to up my game with new skills I go for it.

I’m a tax pro that doesn’t need to work for TurboTax, however when I got an email about a position I checked it out.

I was interested mainly because I know that Turbotax is owned by Intuit, the Quickbooks company. They are like H&R Block when it comes to staying on top of tax technology and making sure their people are on the forefront of tax laws and software.

So I thought why not go through their training program so I can learn some of the new laws coming for the dramatic 2020 tax year that my annual CTEC hours renewal might not cover.

Soooo I go thru the initial telephone (not Facetime) interview process and all is good. I’m told that I will receive a couple of emails regarding testing. No problem I like taking tests.

TurboTax uses HireVue, a company I’ve never heard of before. If I don’t get the gig due to Skynet’s AI, no problem as my eyes are clearly open to the new way Human Resources is recruiting and hiring people.

But Skynet will not end with recruiting! The sky is the limit for AI!

Anyway I did not know about Skynets AI computer system weeding out applicants because they blinked too much or talked too slow etc.

I did not not know the Skynet AI system is basically looking for robotrons who will take orders with no back talk. I’m sure that’s what HR asked for.

With Skynet running the hiring game it’s truly time to start your own gig because getting a job now with companies using Skynet programs like HireVue, your masters education and cleavage will not matter.

It will not matter if you have a 4.0 grade point average if you sit in from of a Skynet AI recruiter and do not fit the specs the employer seeks.

Skynet is in the recruiting business.

What are we going to do when Skynet tells us that our spouses have the capability to cheat or that your kids will be losers.

We need to go back to analog before it’s too late…oh yeah I forgot it’s already too late!

Wow us lowly human beings are in serious trouble and it’s too late to turn the ship around.

The future looks bleak for job seekers who have to take a Skynet AI test before they get the gig!

  • Skynet is the AI that took over the world in the original Terminator movie.

11/15/20 update

I Passed Skynets interview! Turbo Tax that is! Then they wanted me to submit all my background info to Hire Right who wanted so much info I didn’t even apply!

Anyway below are the Turbo Tax questions for the 2020 tax season. I’m pretty everyone will get the same questions or a variation.

Excuse typos as this was an audio to text transmission.

Intuit questions via HireVue

Question one. Please tell us something about yourself that is not on your resume. Also, tell us how you see yourself contributing to Turbo Tax, why customers in this position.

Question two. One of the services we may offer is full service, if you were working on the full service team, returns are reviewed for quality, accuracy and to ensure our processes are being followed as a result of a review. The reviewer has several questions regarding a tax position you took and questions the documentation you provided. You feel you’ve included all relevant material and feel your position is correct. How would you handle the situation?

How would you handle it if the reviewer came to you and admitted that included documentation had been missed in our.

Question three. You have been assisting a customer who was a computer novice for the last 20 minutes and are making good progress, all of a sudden your audio goes out. You can still hear your customer, but they can no longer hear you. Your screen shows your video is still connected. You can still see their screen and assume that they can still see you. Your mouse no longer seems to be working either.

How do you handle the customer? What would you do to fix your technical issue?

Question four. The next question requires that you answer as if you are speaking directly with the customer like a role play, listen to the question and respond as if a customer is on the phone with you. Remember to use your preferred resources to research before responding. This is a role play.

So please speak directly to the customer in your reply. I purchased a rental property last year and I need assistance with doing my taxes. I don’t know where to begin and I am very nervous. How do you communicate with this customer and set expectations regarding what documents together and the steps to take toward completion of their tax?

For this section of the interview, we are looking for spontaneous responses, you can research, but time is limited as such, please provide us with your best response. We understand that these questions may be difficult, but that is by design. So let’s get started. Question five, during your initial conversation with your customer, they mentioned how proud they are of their twenty two year old daughter being the first in their family to go to college.

They mention that because of her great grades and hard work and she’s been able to attend college almost completely on scholarships and grants while paying for her own apartment and living expenses. They also mention how sad it will be for them when she finally graduates in two years and they have to take her off their taxes. How do you get there?

Are there any specific credits or deductions available to them? Are there any additional questions you should ask?

Question six, your customer received a K-1 for his investment in a publicly traded partnership. The schedule came one of the last twelve thousand seven hundred fifty dollar loss on line two. Where would this be reported on the individual tax return? And are there any additional questions or items to consider? Schedule B? Part one. Line one.

Question seven, during your initial conversation with your customer, they mentioned that they received the ten ninety nine miscellaneous with a box seven amount. What probing questions would you ask next? What research would you perform?

Question eight, your customer indicates that they worked as a contractor assisting a military operation in Afghanistan for about three years. They completed their application and returned home to the United States permanently in July of twenty nineteen when they returned home after a brief vacation.

They went to work as an employee on their local army base. What are some additional questions that you would ask the customer based on the answers received from these questions? What are some of the forms that they might need to include in their return and why?

Question nine. This question requires a written response we’ve all experienced change in the last year. What opportunities did you find in any race in the changes that you experienced?

Which of the following is correct regarding foreign earned income exclusion? You can choose to take a foreign tax credit on any amount.

This interview will be reviewed by our hiring team and passed back back to you in approximately one week. We greatly appreciate the time you’ve taken to join us and hope you have a wonderful day.
